Iconfinder has over 600,000 icons. So, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for here. However, to access the full library, you’ll have to sign up for a premium membership. You can also download premium icons a-la-carte.
Iconfinder also has a sizable library of free icons. Just make sure to add those criteria into your search filter. You can also filter based on license types, so you don’t have to link back or to provide attribution when you’re using the icon. Most icons are also available in a variety of sizes, so you can pick one that fits your needs.
DryIcons has over 1000 icons available under free licenses, as long as you provide a link back. All icons are also available under regular licenses for a fee (so you do not have to provide a link back). DryIcons will also offer custom icons as a paid service.
FlatIcon boasts itself as the largest database of free vector icons, and icons are available for download in a variety of formats. However, unless you’re a designer, you can just stick with the easy-to-use .PNG format. Most icons on this site do require attribution and backlinks.
Icon8 is proud of their wide selection of icons and guarantees that they have all your icon needs covered. If not, you can order an icon and they will make it for you. You can download your icon for your use. Alternately, you can embed the icon onto your site via the HTML code provided. To use the icons for free, you do need to provide attribution. What’s neat about Icon8 is that its web app allows you to re-color the icons. So, you can easily adjust the icon design to fit your site’s color scheme.
