SMS Terms and Conditions

These CauseVox SMS Terms and Conditions govern the use of SMS functionality made available through the CauseVox platform and any CauseVox-operated SMS program where recipients have specifically opted in.

1. Program Name

The name of this program is CauseVox.

2. Program Description

CauseVox provides SMS functionality within its platform so that nonprofit organizations using CauseVox may send text messages to their own contacts, including supporters, donors, volunteers, participants, and other constituents.

CauseVox may also from time to time operate limited CauseVox-owned SMS programs for users who have specifically opted in to receive messages from CauseVox, such as event reminders, product updates, or related informational communications.

Message content may include account notifications, campaign updates, donation reminders, event reminders, volunteer communications, stewardship messages, support communications, product updates, and other related messages, depending on the sender and use case.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the organization or program, the nature of your relationship with the sender, your account activity, and your communication preferences.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from CauseVox or from organizations using CauseVox, and to messages you send in response. Contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging or data plan.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to the message you receive. After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you should no longer receive SMS messages for that messaging program unless you opt in again.

6. Help Instructions

If you are experiencing issues with messages sent through CauseVox, reply HELP for more assistance where supported, or contact support@causevox.com. You may also contact the nonprofit organization that sent you the message directly, where applicable.

7. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Consent and Permitted Use

By opting in to receive SMS messages, you represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you consent to receive the applicable messages at that number.

Organizations using CauseVox are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate rights, notices, and consent to send text messages to their contacts and for complying with applicable law, carrier requirements, and industry standards.

9. Privacy

Your use of SMS functionality is also subject to the CauseVox Privacy Policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data, consent records, and related mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

CauseVox may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
