What plans does CauseVox offer? Pricing

We offer two plans: Free and Pro. The Free plan includes unlimited fundraising, a built-in CRM with up to 10,000 contacts, and is supported by optional donor tips. Pro adds advanced workflows, built-in email & SMS, AI-enabled data cleaning, customizable insights, higher CRM contact limits, and 1-1 onboarding for scaling teams. Pro pricing is tailored to your nonprofit — see the pricing page for plan details, or talk to our team for a quote.

Is the Free plan really free? Pricing

Yes. There's no license fee and no credit card required to sign up. The Free plan is supported by optional donor tips — donors can choose to leave a small tip to help cover platform costs. Tips are always optional and never reduce the donation going to your nonprofit.

How much does Pro cost? Pricing

Pro pricing is tailored to your team based on your CRM contact volume, communications needs, and support requirements. See the pricing page for what's included, then talk to our team and we'll put together a quote that fits your organization.

Does CauseVox charge platform fees? Pricing

The Free plan has no platform fee — it's supported by optional donor tips instead. The Pro plan includes a platform fee that's quoted as part of your plan, and you have the option to bring that fee down to 0% by enabling donor tips to CauseVox. What about payment processing fees? Pricing

Donations are processed through Stripe or PayPal, which charge their standard fees — typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Verified nonprofits often qualify for a discounted nonprofit rate of 2.2% + $0.30. These fees go to the payment processor, not to CauseVox.

Can donors cover the processing fees? Pricing

Yes. Our cover-the-fee option lets donors choose to cover Stripe or PayPal processing fees, so 100% of their gift reaches your organization. Pro adds custom cover-the-fee options for more granular control over how the prompt is presented and configured.

Do I need a credit card to start? Pricing

No. You can sign up for the Free plan and start fundraising right away — no credit card required.

Is there a free trial of Pro? Pricing

The Free plan is permanently free, not a trial. You can launch fundraising on Free and upgrade to Pro anytime as your team grows. Your campaigns, donor data, and fundraising activity carry over with you when you upgrade.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime? Pricing

The Free plan is always free, and you can switch to it at any time. Pro plans come with a license period (monthly or annual) — your subscription runs through the end of that term. Talk to our team if you'd like to upgrade, change plans, or discuss what fits your nonprofit.

What happens if my CRM grows past 10,000 contacts on Free? Pricing

We'll work with you to upgrade to Pro, which includes higher CRM contact limits along with built-in email & SMS, advanced workflows, and stronger support. See the pricing page for what's included, or talk to our team.

What is CauseVox? Product

CauseVox is a connected fundraising platform for nonprofits. We bring fundraising tools, donor management, communications, and insights into one system — so your team can launch campaigns, run events, manage donor relationships, and engage supporters without juggling separate tools.

What does "connected fundraising" mean? Product

It's the idea that fundraising, donor data, and communications belong in one place. With CauseVox, every gift, ticket, peer fundraiser, and email is tied to a single donor record — no manual exports, imports, or reconciliation between separate tools. The result: less busywork, more visibility, and a better way to understand and engage your supporters.

What can I fundraise with on CauseVox? Product

You can run donation forms, campaign pages, peer-to-peer fundraising, recurring giving and automated pledges, event ticketing & registration, live and silent auctions, and giving day pages (Pro). Every campaign type is unlimited on every plan.

Does CauseVox include a CRM? Product

Yes. Every plan includes a built-in CRM that keeps donor activity, campaign history, and engagement together in one place. Free includes up to 10,000 contacts; Pro supports higher contact limits along with advanced segmentation and AI-enabled data cleaning.

Can I send email and SMS from CauseVox? Product

Yes. Pro includes built-in email newsletters, SMS blasts, audience segmentation, and scheduled sends. On the Free plan, email and SMS are available as an add-on with usage-based limits — so you can scale your outreach as your program grows.

What is CauseVox AI? Product

CauseVox AI is a set of practical AI features built directly into the platform. It helps your team in three ways: cleaner data (deduplicate and enrich donor records with less manual effort), faster setup (build pages, forms, and fundraising workflows quickly), and actionable insights (surface useful signals to help you decide where to focus next). We use AI ethically — designed to reduce busywork, not replace your team's judgment.

What kind of insights and reporting do I get? Product

Standard insights dashboards are included on every plan, covering donations, donors, and campaign performance. Pro adds customizable dashboards so you can configure the views your team needs most. All plans support full data export.

Can I use CauseVox alongside our existing CRM? Product

Yes. You can use CauseVox as a standalone fundraising platform, layer in donor management later, or run it alongside another CRM if you prefer. Many teams start with fundraising and events, then bring more of their work into CauseVox over time.

Do you offer white-label branding and a custom domain? Product

Yes. Every plan includes white-label branding and the ability to use your own custom domain — so your campaigns, donation forms, and event pages stay on-brand and feel like part of your nonprofit's website.

Are CauseVox pages mobile-friendly? Product

Yes. Every campaign page, donation form, ticketing form, and auction is optimized for mobile by default. Most CauseVox donations come in through a phone — so we design every experience for that first.

How long does it take to launch? Getting Started

Many teams launch their first campaign within a day or two. AI-assisted setup helps you build pages and forms quickly, and our help center walks you through every step. If you'd like hands-on help, 1-1 onboarding is included on Pro and available as an add-on on Free.

Can you help us migrate data from another platform? Getting Started

Yes. Data migration services are available as an add-on on both plans. Our team can help with data mapping, structuring, validation, and reconciliation — guided or done-for-you, depending on what your team needs. Talk to us to scope it out.

Do you offer onboarding and training? Getting Started

Pro includes 1-1 onboarding & training with a dedicated specialist, live strategy sessions, and campaign build support. On the Free plan, onboarding & training are available as an add-on. Every plan also includes access to our help center, video tutorials, and community resources.

What support do I get on the Free plan? Getting Started

Standard email and in-app support are included on every plan, plus access to our help center, video tutorials, and community resources. Pro includes platform configuration support and stronger support tiers for teams with more complex setups.

Can I see CauseVox before I sign up? Getting Started

Do you serve organizations outside the US? Getting Started

Yes. CauseVox is used by nonprofits around the world. Stripe and PayPal both support multiple currencies and many countries — your team can verify supported regions and processing options during setup.

Do I need to be a 501(c)(3) to use CauseVox? Getting Started

No. CauseVox is built for nonprofits broadly — including registered charities, schools, faith-based organizations, and mission-driven groups around the world. Note that the discounted nonprofit processing rate from Stripe or PayPal does require verified nonprofit status with the processor.

Is CauseVox secure? Security

Yes. CauseVox uses industry-standard security practices, and donations are processed through PCI-compliant payment processors (Stripe and PayPal). Sensitive data is encrypted in transit, and CauseVox never stores payment card details on our servers.

Can I export my data? Security

Yes. You can export contacts, donations, and campaign data anytime — on every plan. Your data is your data.

How many admin users can I have? Security

Unlimited admin users on every plan. Pro adds advanced admin permissions so you can give the right level of access to staff, board members, or volunteers without exposing everything.

Do donors pay any fees? Security

Donors don't pay any CauseVox fees. The only fees on a donation are the payment processor's (Stripe or PayPal). On the Free plan, donors can choose to leave an optional tip — and on every plan, donors can choose to cover the processing fees so 100% of their gift reaches your nonprofit.

What if a donor needs a refund? Security

You can issue donor refunds directly from CauseVox. Refunds for processing fees follow Stripe's and PayPal's standard policies, which our help center walks through in detail.
