What is CauseVox 2.0?
CauseVox 2.0 is a re-imagination of what online fundraising should be for nonprofits, causes, and individuals this decade.
We collected a year’s worth of feedback and best practices from hundreds of customers. We also looked at trends in fundraising, behavioral science, and online marketing.
We found out that the key to success for online fundraising this decade is easy customization, community engagement, and content marketing.
Our existing platform couldn’t accommodate that vision, so we scrapped it and developed, from the ground up, a new and improved CauseVox.
CauseVox 2.0 is our first step to revolutionize online fundraising.
Major New Features
CauseVox 2.0 includes seven major features — some new and some enhancements. Here’s a breakdown.
Brand new administrative interface
Based on our feedback from the past year, we’ve rebuilt the admin from the ground up. Nonprofit admins have a better interface to help you create, launch, and manage your CauseVox fundraising site.
Create teams, disable sites, and manage fundraisers easier and quicker than ever before.
Content fundraising
Content fundraising uses content marketing techniques to drive exposure and donations to your fundraising site.
Admins are able to easily post updates to their site, which engages their audiences and improves SEO.
Each fundraiser can post stories too, which exponentially scales content creation and distribution – helping you get credible stories and lots of donations.
Stripe.com integration
Stripe.com is an innovative provider of transaction processing services. Our integration lets you take any credit card directly on your fundraising site.
There’s no setup fee, donations are deposited into your account directly every 7 days, and you can also do recurring donations.
Stripe supports US and Canadian currencies.
Custom donation receipts
How do you create loyal donors that give again and again? You thank them!
With CauseVox 2.0, we let you send customized donation receipts via email to each donor. It’s just like a mail merge, but completely automated. You’ll never forget to thank your donors.
Need to resend the receipt? We let you resend it at the push of a button.
Custom welcome email
Build a relationship with your fundraisers by sending a welcome email. We send this email automatically when they create a fundraising page.
You can just say hello, give them fundraising tips, provide resources, and introduce a point of contact with this welcome email.

Embeddable Widgets & API
Embed a fundraising progress bar on your blog. Put a donate button on any website. Display a leaderboard of top fundraisers anywhere. Our widgets pull data from CauseVox and let you embed it in any site that you have access to. These are some of the widgets that you can use with CauseVox 2.0.
Don’t see the widget you’re looking for? Our API allows you to build your own and use your data in a fun and creative way.
Fundraising site enhancements
Every fundraising site now includes optional functionality to help you fundraise more effectively.
The impact metric helps you display a units counter of the impact donations are creating. The fundraiser search box helps site visitors find their friend’s fundraising page. Blog posts keep your visitors informed.
Need to remove certain functionality? You can do it easily with the flip of a switch.
HTML template editing
Looking to put in a custom header, enlarge the video player, or change the structure of your fundraising site?
You can access and modify the HTML/CSS of your fundraising site and customize it to your heart’s desire.
