New Feature: Get 80% of donors to donate 3% more

Donation tipping recommends, to the donor, that an additional percentage be added to their donation to cover transaction fees or other administrative costs. You can make this mandatory or optional for the donor.

80% of donors have opted in to help cover the fees. On average, this has been an additional 3% in donations for nonprofits.

To enabled this option, just follow these easy steps:

  1. Login to your CauseVox admin
  2. Select your fundraising site
  3. Go to “Site Settings” and then “Fundraising Settings”
  4. Check the box for “Donation Tipping”

New Editor – Now With Background Upload!

Last week, Erika Johansson invited us to give a demo at Purpose. It was really fun, and we ended up making a demo campaign for All Out in 10 minutes. Here is the result.

You can see that the campaign site we whipped up looks pretty similar to the All Out website. One big thing that was missing was the ability to upload a background image.

Why Donation Tiers Are Needed

Fundraising online lets you reach a broad audience in a cost effective manner, but it can become impersonal. Many times, effective fundraising is driven by relationships and personal ownership.
